Out-of-State Attorney Admissions

All out-of-state counsel who seek to represent any party in the Court of Criminal Appeals must comply with Rule 1.6 of the Court:

Rule 1.6 Non-Resident Attorneys; Recognition

A. A practicing attorney of any State, Territory, or the District of Columbia, not licensed to practice in this State, having professional business in this Court, may be recognized in accordance with Rules Creating and Controlling the Oklahoma Bar Association, Ch. 1, App. 1, art. 2, Section 5 of Title 5.

B. Only pro se Appellants/Petitioners and licensed attorneys may sign and file pleadings with the Clerk of this Court. See also Rule 1.16.
