Gary L. Lumpkin, Presiding Judge District No. 3

Appointed to the Court on November 15, 1988. Native of Sentinel, Oklahoma. Graduated from Weatherford High School. Attended Northwestern State College and graduated from Southwestern State College in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration. Received Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1974. Served in U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-1971, serving 18 months in Vietnam. Currently holds the rank of Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve. Worked as staff attorney, Oklahoma Department of Consumer Affairs and assistant district attorney. Served as Associate District Judge and District Judge, 20th Judicial District, Madill, 1982-1989. Married and has one child.
